The Hospital Outreach Program is a compassionate response to the emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of patients—especially those who are vulnerable, abandoned, or financially constrained. We step into hospital spaces not just as visitors, but as caregivers, encouragers, and a source of hope.
What We Do
a) Emotional & Psychosocial Support
Many patients suffer silently due to loneliness and fear. Our team provides:
✅ Friendly conversations and companionship
✅ Encouragement to uplift patients’ morale
✅ Comfort to those facing long-term illness or recovery
b) Spiritual Care & Counseling
We nurture the inner strength of patients through:
✅ Prayer sessions (on request)
✅ Faith-based encouragement
✅ One-on-one counseling for emotional healing
c) Provision of Basic Needs
We support patients who cannot afford essentials by providing:
✅ Food and nutritional support
✅ Soap, sanitary items, and hygiene kits
✅ Clothing and bedding support where needed
d) Support for Abandoned Patients
Some patients are left alone with no relatives. We:
✅ Visit them regularly
✅ Help attend to basic needs
✅ Offer companionship and dignity
Our Impact
✅ Reduced loneliness and emotional distress among patients
✅ Improved patient morale and recovery outlook
✅ Direct support to individuals who would otherwise be neglected
Future Goals
✅ Expand outreach to more hospitals across Uganda
✅ Partner with medical staff for structured support programs
✅ Introduce patient welfare packages and emergency support funds
